Our seating is a bit unusual and if you’ve not been before, it might come as a surprise. You’ll be sitting close together with other people, and you might have to talk to them so they can make room for your feet or your bum.

We believe our seating creates an energy within the audience that performers can feed off, a sense of togetherness and shared experience – and that begins when you sit down, so get to know your neighbour, you never know who you might meet.

The best way to keep in the loop with what’s happening and be the first to know about new events and activities is to register for our newsletter.

Yes, we love to save paper and trees so we only provide email tickets. You can show it to us on your phone when you arrive or, if you need to, print it out and bring it with you.

We’re a short walk from Blackpool North train station, North Pier tram stop and many town centre bus stops. You can find details for nearby parking on the Blackpool Council website.

We’re a dry venue – which means we don’t sell alcohol or allow it on the premises – so we’d ask that you don’t bring any of your own drinks. We do have a tuck shop with lots of tasty treats, and we have tea and coffee available. Make sure you bring some cash as we don’t accept card or mobile payments at the moment.

Because of the nature of our venue, we ask that people arrive on time as once a performance or participation session has started it isn’t possible for us to let people in. We’d suggest arriving ten to fifteen minutes before the time shown on your ticket, and then you’ll have plenty of time to get inside, get a drink or some snacks and enjoy the experience.

We have a lift that provides level access to all areas of the building, but you can find out more on our access page. If you have specific needs or requirements you can call us on 01253 834175 or email info@theoldelectric.co.uk

Please call us on 01253 834175 or email info@theoldelectric.co.uk with details of when you visited and a description of what you lost.

Yes, you can leave your coat or bag at reception and collect it after your event. Please try to limit the size of any bags you bring with you and be aware that we may carry out bag checks at our discretion.

We ask that you don’t take photos or videos during our events unless we tell you otherwise in advance of the event starting.

You are welcome to wear a face covering while in the venue and we have the government’s track and trace system in place. We are also regularly cleaning our spaces and would encourage you to observe social distancing for the comfort of those around you.
