Super Social Sunday

A post-lockdown summer series of afternoon gatherings hosted by Harry Clayton-Wright. Aimed at providing a relaxed space for LGBTQ+ people to socialise and connect in a sober and gentle environment. Featuring conversation, tea, biscuits, gentle tunes and maybe a game of bingo.

“I do not see a lot of sober events for LGBTQ+ people in Blackpool and after this year of lockdowns and having moved back to the area, I wanted to find a space to connect with other queer people without the pressures of alcohol around.

I believe in being the change you want to see in the world and wanted to throw my hat in the ring to create an event where people can connect and feel comfortable to be themselves and spend the afternoon in each other’s company without the pressure of drinking around. Hopefully this will provide safety and open the barriers for connection, conversation and queer joy. “
