INCUBATE
INCUBATE is a new programme of professional development support for creatives working in Blackpool facilitated by The Old Electric as part of Creative Blackpool’s Sector Development activity. This schedule of training workshops, skills-sharing opportunities and chances to gain deeper insight to specific project models, has been designed based on feedback from the sector and is offered on the basis that those who attend are PAID for their time as much as possible.
Offering a pick-n-mix style approach to building confidence and expertise in taking your creative career to the next stages alongside inspiration from artists and peers for you to consider how to scale up your practice.
As attendees are paid for their time and spaces are limited, we want to ensure that the right people at the right stage of their career are in each room and that you have considered your plan for this investment. We are therefore inviting people to ‘apply’ for up to 3 paid sessions and to complete a very light touch application process. We encourage you to consider which elements will be most useful to you at the stage of your career that you are at….
This application process opens on: Monday 3 August and closes 3-weeks in advance of the session.
We will aim to notify you of full details of the sessions that you have been successful in applying for within 2-weeks of the session date.
Bookable sessions are not subject to the application process, just go ahead and book yourself a spot…
