Play Club

DROP IN, grab a brew and let’s talk plays, create new plays and play with existing plays.

An informal opportunity to develop your own writing for the stage; take part in writing challenges and instant exercises, a safe and supportive space to share and get feedback on your own writing with like-minded folk, find out about writing competitions, ticket offers and commissioning initiatives in the area, read plays by professional playwrights and take part in discussions about a different script each month to build our collective understanding of theatre-craft, or simply use it as time carved out to do some writing each week.

Our brand new script library has over 250 plays available for you to read and borrow (like a proper library!) and it’s growing…we are currently accepting donations of scripts to add to our catalogue.

NB – This is not a sex club!
