“What if your anger just simmers underneath? If it never quite reaches boiling point, but it’s present, burning your insides?”
Combining spoken word, theatre and football chants, Chat Sh*t, Get Hit is a poignant and hilarious new show about recovery, solidarity and the suppression of women’s rage.
Includes post-show Q&A with Martha and core creative team.
‘Martha Pailing’s performance is beguilingly wide-eyed and profoundly honest. She draws us in quickly and keeps us there until the end, as we relate and meditate in equal shares on the minutiae of life she presents to us’ – altBlackpool
‘Stunning. What could have been cheap sensationalism in lesser hands was made profound, uncomfortable and uncompromising here.” – Martin O’Brien
