Making Shadow Puppets

Come along and make shadow puppets with artist Janine Walker to build scenes from Blackpool of years gone by.

We invite people of all ages and abilities to take part in a workshop to create your own shadow puppets – from a simple sea lion to a more elaborate elephant… you’ll be supported to explore Blackpool’s heritage of circus, carnival and spectacle and create your own characters from card and coloured gels. Using a range of different techniques, we’ll bring your puppets to life and all stories will be projected onto the window of 4 Edward St during Lightpool Festival.

Please note this event takes place at Revoelution Community Hub. Workshop supported by LeftCoast and Revoelution.
