Lightbox: Live!
Event details
19 October 2025 at 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Step into the light this October as Lightbox transforms Edward Street into a mesmerising stage of shadow, movement and magic.
Crafted by local families, schools, and community groups in a series of hands-on workshops led by Artist Janine Walker, these magical shadow stories will be projected larger-than-life into the windows of 4 Edward Street as part of the spectacular Lightpool Festival.
Expect sea lions, strongmen, elephants, and acrobats – all inspired by Blackpool’s vibrant history of circus, carnival and spectacle.
Join us when the lights go down between 5pm to 10pm on 17th, 18th and 19th October for a special performance choreographed in collaboration with House of Wings, and performed by the talented members of Th’ESPs – The Old Electric’s dynamic Community Theatre Company.
Lightbox will bring silhouettes, stories and heritage together in an exploration of light, motion and imagination.
No need to book – we’ll see you there!
