Join James Porteous in a unique taster session that we hope might become a regular Laughter Club here.

Laughter Yoga is a movement that began in 1995 in India by a doctor and has spread across the world. It provides a huge range of benefits to your mental health and physical well-being such as boosting your immune system and lifting your mood. Laughter is created by the use of simulated laughter exercises until it becomes real, as scientific evidence says that the body cannot differentiate between real of fake laughter.

No use of jokes, comedy or humour, just a series of playful exercises combined with Pranayama (deep breathing exercises) and that is where the name Laughter Yoga comes from.
