Free – £12.00

Blackpool Recovers is a one-day, not-for-profit, creative arts event for the North West of England’s recovery community. From live bands to hip-hop, poetry, magic, and drama, Blackpool Recovers will be an energetic and emotive event, one that raise awareness of the larger issues surrounding addiction.

The recovery community is coming together to show that life after addiction is thriving, and that many talented people are to be found amongst it. The event is presenting a new culture whilst providing a safe and welcoming space for both artists in recovery, and those who want to enjoy the creative arts. Midway through the event there will also be a brief discussion on the history and future of addiction related treatment and policy. All proceeds will be donated to The Old Electric, whose purpose is to ensure that arts and creativity is accessible for all Blackpool communities, and whose mission is to provide transformative creative experiences that improve the lives of local residents.
